Overview

The Matlab Invocation Bindings (Version 995) provide an interface to BRAHMS from the Matlab prompt. Typically, BRAHMS is invoked to run a System that has been built using the SystemML Matlab Bindings.

Octave

995 and the SystemML Matlab Bindings have been tested successfully under Octave, with the exception of the GUI components (brahms_gui and brahms_manager). Whilst support for Octave has to be considered preliminary, you should be able to drive BRAHMS through Octave, with no need for Matlab at all. Please let us know if you try this and run into trouble.
