This section will walk you through the basic steps in constructing a System using the SystemML Matlab Bindings and sending it for Execution using the BRAHMS Matlab Invocation Bindings (995). Once you've worked through this, you should be ready to do pretty much everything. If you want to lay in what you've learned a bit more deeply, work through the Tutorials. If you want to learn how to access some of the more esoteric functionality of Systems, have a look at Advanced Topics.
Note that it is possible to construct a System and send it for Execution without using either of these Matlab bindings, but it's pretty laborious, and not documented in the User Guide (though the necessary information is available in the Reference Manual).
